Working with the Nature Mood Sketches of Rudolf Steiner

The Rudolf Steiner Painting School wishes to further the impulses set in motion by Rudolf Steiner towards a deeper understanding of colour and painting.

Through artistic activity (training and courses), research, exhibitions and publications we wish to make these impulses better known and at the same time create an international meeting place.

Where we are

The school is situated in the Atelierhaus close to the Goetheanum, the place where Rudolf Steiner’s own creative capacities, as architect, sculptor and painter are visible in original form offering inspiration and a new direction in art.

The archive of Gerard Wagner’s paintings, housed a short distance from the school, serves also as constant inspiration for our work. Exhibitions of Wagner’s paintings can be seen regularly at the Atelierhaus Gallery here at the school.
